Queen's day (celebrates the birthday of the Queen of the Netherlands) is my fav day of the year
but not this year ,there was an attempt at the lives of the Royal Family.

i've just read about this on a news site- that's terrible. it's extra sad on a day that's meant to be such a cheerful event for the whole country.
That is oh so terrible.
But, even in light of tragedy--I must mention that those little cakes are scrumptious looking. What are they?

Very sad, it's on the new here in the states too.
But I must also say, OMG!!!!!!! That little chihuahua on the blanket! So, so cute.
It is a crazy world! Looks like a beautiful day with lovely weather. Too bad it was made to be sad and scary by a nutter. Was that dog real or a toy for sale?!
